1.Who We Are

Multi∞Verse is an independently owned and operated online retail store specialising in Trading Card Game (TCG) singles, sealed products, graded cards, and accessories across multiple TCG titles — including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Dragon Ball Super Card Game, and Star Wars Unlimited. We trade under the name Multi∞Verse and operate the website at multi-verse.co.za. Our registered trading address is 188 Innes Road, Morningside, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, 4001, South Africa.

Multi∞Verse is an authorised secondary-market retailer and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of the following intellectual property holders or their affiliates: Nintendo Co., Ltd., Game Freak Inc., Creatures Inc., or The Pokémon Company International (Pokémon TCG); Wizards of the Coast LLC or Hasbro, Inc. (Magic: The Gathering); Bandai Co., Ltd. (Dragon Ball Super Card Game); or The Walt Disney Company, Lucasfilm Ltd., or Fantasy Flight Games (Star Wars Unlimited). All respective trademarks, card names, artwork, and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

2.Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing multi-verse.co.za, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or have the consent of a parent or guardian), that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement, and that you accept these Terms of Service in full. These terms constitute an electronic agreement as contemplated under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act). If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our website or placing an order.

3.Products, Grading & Pricing

All prices on our website are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to update prices without prior notice; however, any price change will not affect an order you have already placed and paid for.

Single cards are graded by our team according to industry-standard criteria: NM (Near Mint) — virtually flawless, minimal to no handling marks; LP (Lightly Played) — light surface wear or minor edge whitening not visible at arm's length; MP (Moderately Played) — visible wear including scuffs or scratches but structurally sound; HP (Heavily Played) — significant wear, creasing, or heavy edge wear; DMG (Damaged) — tears, heavy creasing, or damage that would render the card tournament-illegal. Photographs of individual cards are available on request.

Graded cards (slabs) are assessed and encapsulated by independent third-party grading companies (such as PSA, BGS, or CGC). The grade displayed on a slab represents that grading company's assessment, not Multi∞Verse's. We are not responsible for any disputes regarding a third-party grading company's assessment.

4.Orders & Payment

All orders are subject to product availability. Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. Your order is only confirmed once you receive a written order confirmation from us. We reserve the right to cancel or decline any order for reasons including, but not limited to, pricing errors, stock inaccuracies, or suspected fraudulent activity, in which case you will receive a full refund.

We accept the following payment methods: credit and debit card payments processed securely through Yoco (a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway); and Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) directly to our bank account. For EFT payments, your order will be held for a maximum of 48 hours from the time of order. If payment is not received and confirmed within this period, the order will be cancelled and the items returned to stock. We will not be liable for any price change on items in a cancelled EFT order.

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting admin@multi-verse.co.za. A 5% cancellation fee applies to cover payment processing costs. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled but may be eligible for return under our Returns & Refunds Policy.

We do not store any card payment details on our servers. All card transactions are processed directly by Yoco and are subject to Yoco's own terms and privacy policy.

5.Pre-Orders

Pre-orders require full payment at the time of ordering to secure your allocation. Pre-order deposits and payments are non-refundable once confirmed. Prices for pre-order items are subject to change prior to dispatch based on distributor pricing adjustments. Release dates are estimates provided by manufacturers and may change — delays do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund. Multi∞Verse will notify customers of significant delays via email. If Multi∞Verse is unable to fulfil a pre-order due to distributor allocation shortages, the customer will receive a full refund.

6.Quantity Limits

Multi∞Verse reserves the right to limit quantities on high-demand products. Orders exceeding stated limits may be partially cancelled. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent quantity limits is prohibited and will result in account suspension and cancellation of all associated orders.

7.Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship to all areas within South Africa via our courier partner, Aramex South Africa. International shipping is not available at this time. Orders of R2,500 or more qualify for complimentary shipping. Orders below R2,500 attract a flat-rate courier fee of R120. Delivery timeframes are estimates and are counted from the date of dispatch, not the date of order. Risk of loss passes to the customer upon delivery confirmation by Aramex. 8.Returns, Refunds & Your Consumer Rights

We honour your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA). You may return an item within 7 days of delivery if it was incorrectly described, arrived in a condition materially different from that listed, was the wrong item, or arrived damaged due to a packaging or courier failure. Change-of-mind returns and returns of opened sealed products are not accepted. Full details, including how to initiate a return and our refund process, are set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

9.Authenticity Guarantee

Every card and sealed product sold through Multi∞Verse is guaranteed to be a genuine, authentic product. We do not sell proxies, counterfeits, test prints, or unauthorised reproductions of any kind. Should you believe you have received a counterfeit item, please contact us immediately at admin@multi-verse.co.za. Confirmed counterfeits will be subject to a full refund and the item will be appropriately reported.

10.Intellectual Property & Trademarks

All trading card game names, characters, card images, and associated artwork displayed on this website are trademarks and intellectual property of their respective publishers, including but not limited to Nintendo Co., Ltd., Game Freak Inc., Creatures Inc., and The Pokémon Company International (Pokémon); Wizards of the Coast LLC and Hasbro Inc. (Magic: The Gathering); Bandai Co., Ltd. (Dragon Ball Super Card Game, One Piece Card Game); and Fantasy Flight Games (Star Wars: Unlimited). Multi∞Verse is an independent secondary-market retailer and makes no claim of ownership over, nor asserts any affiliation with, these rights holders. Card images and product artwork are used solely for identification and informational purposes.

The Multi∞Verse name, the ∞ portal symbol, our logo, and all original written content on this website (including product descriptions, policy documents, blog posts, and marketing copy) are the intellectual property of Multi∞Verse and are protected under South African copyright law. Reproduction, distribution, or modification of any original Multi∞Verse content without our express written permission is prohibited.

11.Website Use & Conduct

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, scrape data from our website without permission, submit false or misleading information, or use the website in any way that could harm Multi∞Verse or other users. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these conditions without notice or refund for outstanding orders implicated in the violation.

12.Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable South African law, Multi∞Verse's total liability to you for any claim arising from a transaction shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific product giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of our website or products, including but not limited to loss of profit, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

13.Amendments to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our business, legal requirements, or services. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Your continued use of our website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

14.Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Where applicable, unresolved consumer disputes may be referred to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) or the relevant ombud.
